Workshop aims: Busting the myths that curriculum based learning means you have to sit still in a classroom, and that running a residential trip is terrifying prospect!
Session oerview: Jenny will share some activities and ideas taken from sessions at Holt Hall that can easily be replicated in your school or at home, whilst still being able to prove you are meeting your curriculum needs. Jenny will also be able to provide information on how to organise a residential trip and will talk about research into the benefits to students when they take part in a good residential trip, including first-hand experience of bringing her own Y4 class to Holt Hall when she was teaching in a school and the subsequent benefits.
