Growing an East of England Regional Network
We believe that People Connection is just as important as Nature Connection, we all need a community to share our stories with. Therefore we would like to support the growth of a local network for anyone interested in Deep Nature Connection and 8 Shields philosophy. In the UK we would like to support and link with the Nature Culture Network (UK organisation rooted in 8 Shields work), you can sign up to their seasonal newsletters here.
We are hoping to honour the seasons by facilitating online, and hopefully eventually real life, gatherings around the times of the 8 Celtic Festivals.
Each event will offer an invitation to take time for personal reflection in nature beforehand or during (if real life gathering). Followed by some together time, being inspired by the energies of the changing season; sharing in small groups and participating in a simple, whole group, joyful celebration of the Season, drawing on the traditions of the Celtic festivals and ancient tree wisdom. These ideas may then help you create your own outdoor celebration in your own time and space for yourself, family or other groups.
These events are offered in the spirit of community, collaboration and celebration. They are free of charge and organised by volunteers. If you would like to help organise, support or facilitate (acorn) these events, we’d love to hear from you – please email us at outrageousnature@gmail.com
