Learning about language, playing with poetry and strengthening our storytelling!  A participatory day, crammed full of tips, ideas and activities that can be used within School grounds.

& Maths Outdoors – Take the curriculum out!

Exploring how the outdoors can be used as an inspirational context for Maths and how it can support the Primary Curriculum. Using natural materials as a stimulus for promoting practical maths and marvelling at maths trails. A participatory day, crammed full of tips, ideas and activities that can be used within School grounds.

Challenging Behaviour in the Outdoors

This 3 day accredited level 3 course (unaccredited option also available) explores how practitioners can develop their skills in working with learners (of any age) who may exhibit challenging behaviour using the outdoors as a catalyst.

Storytelling & Storymaking in the Outdoors

In this 1 day workshop we explore the fundamentals of storytelling techniques and how to use stories in the outdoors to inspire learners’ creativity and literacy skills.

Spoon Carving with Mart – An Afternoon for Beginners – April 2017

For anyone over the age of 14 who wants to develop their whittling skills and learn some simple techniques to carve spoons. It is appropriate for total beginners and those who have whittled a little bit.

The first day aims to be a gentle introduction to using knots, ropes and cordage in different ways to support learning & development. Going on to provide further ideas for practitioners to add to their repertoire of skills/activities on the second day.
